Independently-owned long term care pharmacy located in Northern Chicago is adding a new full-time supervisory position due to growth.
We are seeking an experienced pharmacy technician with supervisory experience to oversee the Bingo Cycle Department. This department manages, produces, ensures accuracy and timely delivery of medications to a large number of LTC facilities on both 14- and 30-day cycles. The work is very time sensitive and requires full engagement with pharmacy production and forecasting for new facilities based on staffing, preparation time and production.
Essential Talents:
- Certified Pharmacy Tech
- 5+ years of experience with cycle distribution in LTC Pharmacy
- Prior oversight, leadership of staff (the positions oversees techs and coordinates with the pharmacist)
- Experience creating schedules (staff and facility cycle dates)
- Highly organized and able to multitask
- Skilled in Microsoft Suite (Excel is important)
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility in scheduling (as needed)
