Job Description: Manufacturing Engineering Site Leader (Medical Devices)
As the site leader for an expanding Manufacturing Engineering team, you will be instrumental in driving the production of high-volume, innovative products. You’ll lead the strategic vision for the site, ensuring the efficient and high-quality manufacture of life-saving products. Key responsibilities include building a strong team, overseeing the introduction of new products, and achieving manufacturing goals. You'll collaborate across functions, lead product scale-up, and identify opportunities to improve technologies, equipment, and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute manufacturing engineering strategies in alignment with company vision.
- Provide engineering support for line expansion and operational needs.
- Lead teams to implement cost-effective processes and high-quality product manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with long-term solutions.
- Mentor cross-functional teams and support supplier relationships.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of related experience, with 5+ years in engineering management.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Medical device industry experience preferred.
- Proven ability to lead high-performance teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Working Conditions:
- General office environment with occasional on-site work.
- May require up to 10% business travel.
- Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens and physical tasks (e.g., lifting up to 15 lbs).
- Must be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Location: Sacramento, CA
Compensation: Base salary: $190,00 - $250,000 per year, with a competitive benefits and equity package.
