Physician Integration Specialist
Job Description
The Physician integration specialist is responsible for facilitating the integration of medical providers who newly merged with CLS, ensuring they receive the necessary support to provide high-quality patient-centric care and ensure physician success within the organization. The Specialist works closely with other management team members and medical staff to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Streamline onboarding orientation and training programs for new medical providers.
- Ensure the providers credentialing and privileging applications are up to date.
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate new providers into the medical staff at CLS.
- Facilitate communication between new providers and key stakeholders at CLS.
- Closely provide ongoing support and guidance to new providers to ensure their success in the organization during the first year after the merger.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to provider onboarding.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the onboarding process and provider experience.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Business Development Teams to discuss marketing needs, identify new business opportunities, and implement ways to streamline referrals.
- Develop methods to achieve the highest level of customer service satisfaction.
- Establish a working relationship with the Billing team to optimize claim submissions.
- Establish a working relationship with the coding and compliance teams to ensure proper documentation and coding.
- Assist in establishing productivity targets and growth plans to meet financial goals.
- Ensure correct understanding of company policies and relevance to emerging issues.
- Monitor workflow inside the clinic to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate meetings with community physicians, other organizations’ business development teams, and hospital Physician Liaisons.
- Act as a liaison between physicians and employees to resolve problems, provide solutions, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Submit weekly updates on new physicians to upper management regarding:
- Productivity
- Patient’s satisfaction
- Professionalism and demeanor
- Documentation quality and timely completion
- Coding proficiency
Requirements
- Medical Experience
- Experience in establishing and supporting physician practice startups, Preferred
- Willing to travel
