B.School Health Center Navigator Responsibilities

Serves as liaison between the parent/guardians and health center
Serves as liaison between CareSouth administration and School administration
Responsible for obtaining complete and timely registration documents and consents
Responsible for providing registration documents and consents to parent/guardian and faculty/staff
Marketing school health center services to parents/guardians and faculty/staff
Assist with resolving workflow issues and challenges
Assess patient flow
Other duties as assignedC.REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree preferred
Research/data collection experience, preferred
Public speaking and presentation experience, preferred
CHW training from a certified program (e.g., Louisiana Community Health Outreach Network), preferred
Must have reliable transportation throughout the working day.
Must be able to work weekends and afterhours, as applicable.
Must have ability to learn using Electronic Health Records system(s); must have strong computer skills.
Performs all job responsibilities in full compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.D.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES TYPICALLY NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY:1.Comfort using technology, including wearable devices, mobile applications, and/or electronic databases
Attention to detail and ability to follow study protocols and policies and procedures
Ability to acquire and maintain all required research ethics training certificates (e.g., CITI)
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to communicate with and motivate individuals to educate and facilitate problem solving
Ability to work with community members from diverse backgrounds
Ability to work independently and within a team
Ability to get around in the community, visit local sites and engage in project activities that involve physical activity
Comfort working in a clinic setting with patients and clinic staffE.SUPERVISES
