We are conducting a search for a
Lab Director in WNYto join a community hospital with a February start date. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated laboratory team in a full-time, weekday schedule.
Position Highlights:
- Reporting Structure:Reports to the Medical Director
- Team Leadership:Oversee a laboratory staff of 11 FTEs
- Work Schedule:Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary:$90,000 - $120,000 annually
- Potential $5,000 relocation assistance
- PTO:182 hours annually (inclusive of sick and vacation time)
- Retirement Plan:403(b) starting Day 1, with a hospital contribution of 3.25% of your annual salary
- Holidays:8 paid holidays per year
- Health Insurance:The hospital covers 50% of the deductible
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or a related field (minimum)
- Certification:ASPC certification required
- Experience:Prior experience managing personnel, with proven leadership, coaching, and disciplinary skills
- Must possess strong management and organizational capabilities
Your Role:
As Lab Director, you will lead daily operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within the laboratory. You will coach and manage a team of 11 FTEs, driving performance and fostering a collaborative and disciplined environment.
