Job Description:
Welcome to Addison Gilbert Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health. Addison Gilbert Hospital is a full service, 70-bed medical/surgical acute care facility in Gloucester, MA. Founded in 1889, the hospital provides state-of-the-art inpatient and outpatient care to residents of the Cape Ann community in specialties such as radiology, cancer care, primary and pediatric care, cardiology, inpatient geriatric services, and emergency medicine. The Nurse Manager maintains 24-hour accountability for the clinical and management functions, as well as monitoring and evaluation activities pertinent to the operation of the department. Emphasis is on the supervision of the staff who are providing direct patient care through the nursing process. Care is rendered to age-appropriate populations on each patient care unit. He/She is responsible for maintaining established standards, managing and coordinating the care and services provided by ancillary and other professional personnel. This position is responsible for maintaining ongoing collaborative and collegial relationships with Medical Staff, clinical and support departments. The Nurse Manager demonstrates clinical skill and competence as necessary.

- 50,000 visits per year including pediatrics
- 100% ACLS and TNCC certified staff
- Primary Stroke Service Hospital
- Emergent Percutaneous Cardiac Intervention Center.
- Dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator and Emergency Manager/EMC Coordinator
Education/Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Baccalaureate required in nursing or other related health care field. Masters degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of practice. Previous leadership experience required.
Certification/License:
Current Massachusetts license as RN. Department certification as appropriate. BCLS.
