General Purpose Of Position
Assist with various tasks from Pharmacovigilance, Quality Assurance, and Customer Service activities focusing on product quality and handling of calls from consumers.
Duties/Responsibilities
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Pharmacovigilance
- Requires a good phone presence and ability to interact with customers and medical professionals
- Ability to handle calls from medical professionals and consumers as it relates to our products and follow scripted replies
- Work with various business partners in the transfer of call data and follow up for adverse events and customer complaints

Product Quality
- Create new and maintain existing Quality Documents related to the release of the product.
- Perform activities related to the release of product for distribution, including the handling of quality related issues that arise due to various circumstances.
- Document review.
- Develop, file and maintain quality related documents and assist with Assist with Supplier Qualification Program

Customer Service
- Answer customer service phone line as well as calls transferred from other Prasco departments that relate to customer service
- Respond and follow-up with consumer inquiries and requests

Labeling
- Provide assistance with, review, and approval of all labeling components for various types of products (including, but not limited to OTC, Dietary Supplements, and RX products)
- Assists in the review and approval of marketing and promotional materials
- Assists in the preparation of materials for FDA submissions
- Coordinate Sampling Materials and assist in Kitting Operations
- Review of drug listings
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Communication skills – verbal and written both on the phone and in person
- Requires good phone presence and ability to confidently interact with consumers and medical professionals
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and manage time accordingly
- Attention to detail and organization
Education And Experience
- Advanced degree in pharmacy or equivalent medical sciences
Physical Demands And Work Environment
- Ability to sit at desk for extended periods of time
- Extended viewing of computer screens and manual dexterity to operate office equipment
- Required to sit, talk, see and hear. Occasionally required to walk, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must use hands and fingers to operate computer
- Must have the ability to adjust focus for unplanned activities and other duties as assigned. Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment
- The work environment is indoors. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet
