VP, Corporate Risk – Medical Malpractice/Insurance
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Pay: $165,000 - $200,000 base + bonuses
Schedule: Flexible work environment, ~35% travel

They are looking for you, an experienced
VP of Corporate Risk, to join their team in a direct-hire capacity. You will play a pivotal role in building relationships with healthcare clients, leading a high-performing team, and providing innovative risk management strategies in the medical malpractice space.
What You Get To Do
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for healthcare clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the healthcare practice.
- Lead and mentor a team of four, optimizing team performance.
- Design risk management programs and negotiate with insurance carriers to meet client needs.
- Support cross-departmental initiatives, including M&A and production teams.
What You Need To Succeed
- 7+ years in property & casualty insurance with a focus on medical malpractice.
- Bachelor’s degree and an active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Leadership experience with direct reports (minimum 2 years).
- Strong relationships with medical malpractice carriers and expertise in state and federal malpractice laws.
- Proficiency with EPIC agency management systems.
- A collaborative, customer-first mentality and excellent negotiation skills.
