Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews and coding of medical records, ensuring strict adherence to ICD-10-CM, CMS-HCC, and other applicable regulations.
- Validate and ensure the accuracy and completeness of coded data.
- Proactively identify and rectify discrepancies and inconsistencies in coding.
- Commit to continuous professional development by staying informed about the latest coding regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and colleagues to clarify documentation and resolve coding inquiries.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at improving coding processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.
