We are seeking driven, self-motivated medical professionals for a multi-faceted position. Ideally, this staff member will be responsible for desk reception as well as medical assisting. We are happy and willing to train the right candidate, even if you don't have medical assisting experience! Candidates
must be passionate about helping others, dependable, personally living a healthy lifestyle and be a team player. Multi-tasking with ease is a deal breaker for this position. We want someone who thrives in a busy environment.
We look for individuals that are willing and excited to learn more roles in the medical field. We provide training within our own company on injection administration, EKG, phlebotomy and more!
About The Role
- Ensure that each patient receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment.
- Greet and acknowledging every patient, maintain outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
- Assist patients with booking, moving and rescheduling appointments.
- Answer questions regarding the Medi-Weightloss program when inquiries come into the clinic.
- Assist in billing and coding.
- Assist with daily monitoring of inventory levels of all clinical and office supplies.
- Daily scanning and uploading of documents in patient files.
- Answer telephone, text and fax messages and responding accordingly.
- Maintains overall cleanliness of the clinic.
- Follows and adheres to all OSHA/HIPPA standards of compliance.
Requirements:
- Front desk reception and customer service experience (preferred)
- Medical setting experience (preferred)
- Passionate about health and wellness and personally living a healthy lifestyle (required)
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
Clinical Duties (varied based on credentials):
- Obtain patient vitals, EKG, and perform phlebotomy.
- Administer IM injections.
- Prepare laboratory order forms and obtain patient laboratory results.
- Assist physicians or mid-level practitioners with patient referrals to other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient progress notes in the patient chart and/or EMR.
- Conduct follow-up calls to patients to discuss progress and address concerns.
- Perform other clinical duties as required.

Pay starts at: $16 per hour, but is always based on experience. This is an hourly plus bonus opportunity style of compensation.
