Certified Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT)
Full-Time | $35-40/hr
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) to join our team on a part-time basis in Winter Park. In this role, you will analyze biological samples to support the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases. You will be responsible for preparing samples, conducting tests, and generating patient result reports.

Key Responsibilities: Perform laboratory tests using established protocols and log results accurately. Validate specimen integrity within the first 20 minutes of receipt. Communicate recollection protocols for rejected specimens. Troubleshoot and repair lab equipment as needed. Verify test results and ensure proper matching with specimens. Label and organize tests for easy retrieval.
Qualifications: Current ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification with Molecular Biology certification (Required). Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician certification (Required). Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences (Required). 2–3 years of experience in a molecular laboratory (Required). Experience with PCR and/or strong extraction (Required). Proficiency in pipetting (Required).
Skills & Abilities: Attention to detail and ability to stand for long periods. Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adhere to biohazard guidelines and follow detailed instructions.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Compensation
$35-40/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
