POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Territory head maintains and expands relationships with strategically important customer. He is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic objectives for the region.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel from the customer organization in the region.
- New sales with capability of hunting new accounts in the Medical devices space is a must.
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet the revenue targets for the region.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned region.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Offers capabilities and solutions in the medical devices to the existing and prospective customers in the region.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
- Achieves assigned sales quota in designated strategic account.
- Meets assigned expectations for profitability.
- Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
- Maintains high customer connects and relationships with existing and prospective customers in the region.
- Manage a team 2-3 business development/ sales person/ account manager reporting to this role
REQUIREMENTS:
- Sales experience of at least 18-25 years with global technology company
- Well versed with outsourcing and offshoring. Ability to work with teams in multiple geographies
- Must have hands-on experience of at least 5-6 years in selling engineering services to Medical domain & Life Sciences customers
- Prior experience of at least 2-3 years in ER&D services | Medical industry exposure – good to have
- Understanding of services for R&D, Manufacturing and Operations
- New age technologies – Digital Health, IoT, Digital Supply Chain, Digital Twin etc.
- Proven track record of new customer acquisition / hunting/ hunting within farmed accounts (this position requires acquiring business from new segments of client. Existing business will be minimal)
- Understanding of carving large deals
- Exposure to Fortune 500 companies
- Ability to maneuver large and complex customer organization
- Work with multiple stakeholders in customer organization
- Good understanding of the offshore and global delivery model
